I had the privilege of speaking with over 100 women at the Annual Women's Breakfast hosted by the First Baptist Church of Walton. The theme "Angels Among Us" fit beautifully with my message of volunteerism. We enjoyed music, the program and a great lunch.

Pictured with some of the ladies from Richwood Presbyterian and Quilters for Comfort and laughing, as usual!

Celebrating our country's birth with family, friends and community is amazing! It is great we live in a country with men and women freely protecting the right for us to do so.

World's Championship Horse Show, Kentucky State Fair

I had the honor of presenting the blue ribbons to each class on Sunday, August 23. Congratulations to all of these amazing riders, trainers and owners! It was a pleasure.

SSgt Paul Brondhaver and his son. Welcome to Independence! We are honored to have you in our community.

These young men all served our country with honor and pride! Now they work with Homes for Heroes to provide housing for wounded veterans.

I am proud to be an American every day of my life, but I have to say being surrounded by veterans, fire fighters, police officers and the man himself, Lee Greenwood, made me especially proud this day!

A few more heroes!! Standing with some of Independence Fire District's finest.
